What was the highlight of Sunny V Hotel

This hotel exceeded our expectations for what we paid.

Although set off a busy road our room was quiet and we got a great nights sleep. The room was spacious, well equipped and clean. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony in the evening. The bed was a good size and comfortable The pool was bigger than we thought and towels were available from reception.

Only 4 loungers by the pool.

Worth the price well decorated

Worth stay with what I paid. Staff at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. The room was well decorated with Lana’s style and huge , Really impressed!

Nice place if you prefer to relax rather than sightseeing

Spacious and well equipped rooms (hairdryer, kettle, fridge, tv) nice interior design, very friendly and helpfull staff, common areas available for guests even after check out, good wifi.

All doors, even the front one are glazed - it looks nice but doesn't provide privacy. Hotel restaurant and cafe were closed :(

nice unique hotel

very nice and helpful staff, unique rooms and interior, nice pool. got a nice cake as a birthday surprise

no breakfast or food at the hotel and there are no nearby breakfast places. a bit distance from town and restaurants. if u have a car, then very nice. otherwise hard.

Wonderful

The room is spacious and divided into two sections; bedroom and living room. Facilities are great. Everything in the room is clean. The staffs are super nice and helpful. They also allowed me to do early check-in as I requested.

The bed is hard. I couldn't sleep properly whenI was there.

Very nice Asia setting with open air halls. Room was nice with seperate TV and bed areas

The location is away from Old Town so needed taxi to get around. Restaurants and stores not nearby. But if you are looking for quiet, this is a very good place

Good

the design and decoration of the hotel is traditional Lanna , and located in the area which not far from downtown. The room was devided into 2 zones, bed and living. The living zone was big but we disn't use it much.

the parking lot is behind the hotel , narrow way to it, must carefully drive. It would be better to have soap dispensor at the basin.

The hotel is very beautiful and the pool very nice.

The hotel is very beautiful and the pool very nice. many flowers and wood decoration. Personal is very nice .

Very hard beds. Breakfast not so good (Chinese customer oriented) . WC was not cleaned everydays, which is more necessary that changing towels or sheets everyday.

Excellent helpful staff. Large, clean and spacious family room with large bathroom.

Set deep into the property away from the main road made it like a hidden oasis. English speaking staff. All staff very helpful. Cleanliness of rooms and hotel in general. Spacious family room and bathroom. Extremely clean pool. Breakfast provided. Very good wifi. Two very good AC units in the room but placement of one (directly at upper bunk) made it impossible to use at night. Daily bottled water. Small fridge. TV.

Our teenage daughters did not sleep well on the mattresses on the bunk beds. We understand not all hotels have western mattresses, but these were extremely hard. The mattress on the main bed was also quite hard, but not as bad as the two single. Having stayed at 4 other hotels in Thailand, this breakfast didn't rate too well. Only butter, no spreads, for toast. Adding bacon and another hot option, waffles or pancakes, especially for children, would be beneficial. Only one iron for entire hotel made it difficult to locate. As hotel has the open air style, with few exterior walls, mosquitoes found their way inside and into rooms. Staff were helpful to keep rooms sprayed as much as possible. Minimal storage for longer stays. No in room safe.

What was the highlight of Sunny V Hotel

Thai-style Hotel, away from the busy street, relaxing and comfortable.

Thai style design hotel, nice spacious bedroom and big bathroom (I stayed at the Groundfloor). Mostly quiet, except for the mainland Chinese tourists. I like the organic cookery class they recommended to me and the Oasis Spa. Both had pick up and drop off service.

The receptionists and the lady in charge of tours don't speak English well so there was a problem in communicating. Thanks to Sidee, from the admin, who speaks fluent English. Also, they should cover the circuit breaker in the room, it's exposed, so it sort of ruined the Thai design of the room, and there should be a nearby plug for the hot water pot. I had to move it to a plug by the floor to boil water.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have liked to stay longer, there is a lot to do and see!!

Lovely, quaint hotel. Very clean and great value for money!! The staff were friendly and helpful. It was also quiet and peaceful. The swimming pool is stunning!!

It lacked amenities like a restaurant, coffee shop and bar. The eating area is only open for breakfast. There is no free airport shuttle service as advertised. It is a little far out of town.

Beautiful hotel on the outskirts of the Old City

Amazingly friendly and helpful staff, very nice pool, huge room. The entire hotel is beautiful. Nice oasis in a busy town.

Breakfast could have a had a bit wider selection.
